Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
eVerity has zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, servitude or exploitation in our operations or supply chain.
As a professional technology and cyber security services business, our supply chain primarily comprises software and cloud providers, technology manufacturers and distributors, specialist contractors, professional advisers, and other business service providers. We recognise that risk can arise at different points in those supply chains and seek to manage it proportionately.
We take reasonable steps to:
- engage reputable suppliers and partners;
- expect suppliers, contractors and consultants to comply with applicable employment, human rights and anti-slavery laws;
- consider modern slavery and ethical business practices when selecting or reviewing suppliers where proportionate;
- provide staff and contractors with routes to raise concerns confidentially and without fear of retaliation; and
- investigate credible concerns promptly and take appropriate action.
We will review this statement and our related practices periodically as our business and supply chain develop.
This statement relates to the financial year ending 2025.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
We are committed to an inclusive workplace, fair employment practices and respectful delivery of services to our customers and partners.
We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation. Decisions relating to recruitment, development, reward, promotion, training, performance and the provision of services are made fairly and on the basis of merit, capability and business need.
We seek to ensure that no employee, worker, applicant, customer, supplier or other person is treated less favourably because of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
We will:
- provide equal opportunity and fair treatment throughout the employment lifecycle;
- make reasonable adjustments for disabled applicants, employees and service users where appropriate;
- foster a professional environment in which people are treated with dignity and respect;
- investigate concerns promptly, fairly and sensitively; and
- expect our employees, contractors, suppliers and partners to uphold these standards.
