eVerity Ltd (“eVerity”, “we”, “us”) is registered in England and Wales, company number 07975172, at 288 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 4QP. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers this website and the enquiries you send us. It does not cover personal information we process on behalf of our clients when delivering services; that is governed by our contracts with those clients. It also does not cover other websites we link to.
What we collect
When you visit this website
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tools, and loads nothing from third parties. We do not track you across visits or build profiles of visitors.
Like any website, the server that hosts it automatically records basic technical information about each request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure.
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we collect what you choose to give us, typically your name, email address, phone number, organisation, job title and the content of your message. If you send us a CV or apply for a role, we also collect the information it contains.
Emails and other electronic communications with eVerity may be monitored, and calls may be recorded, for quality, security and regulatory purposes.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for each use of your information.
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss our services. Where you are asking about becoming a client, this is to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Otherwise, it is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To keep this website and our systems secure, including detecting and preventing misuse. This is our legitimate interest in protecting our business and the people who use our site.
- To consider you for a role, if you have applied for one. This is to take steps at your request before entering into an employment contract.
- To send you news or updates, but only if you have expressly asked us to. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To comply with the law, for example keeping records we are required to keep or responding to lawful requests from authorities. This is our legal obligation.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed for the purposes above:
- with service providers who act on our instructions, such as our website hosting, email and IT providers, under contracts that require them to protect it;
- with professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where necessary;
- with law enforcement, regulators or courts where the law requires it; and
- with a buyer or successor if all or part of our business is sold, in which case your information would continue to be used only for the same purposes.
International transfers
Our teams work across the UK, North America and Asia-Pacific, and some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected, using countries covered by UK adequacy regulations or safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it:
- server logs for a short period, as long as they are needed to operate and secure the site;
- enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, or for the length of our relationship and the period afterwards required by law or our contracts if you become a client;
- job applications for as long as needed to complete recruitment, unless you agree to us keeping them for future roles; and
- marketing preferences until you withdraw your consent.
After that, we delete or anonymise it securely.
How we protect it
We are certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus. We use technical, physical and organisational controls, including encryption in transit and access restricted to people who need it, to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access or change.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- ask for information you gave us in a portable format; and
- withdraw your consent where we rely on it.
Some of these rights apply only in certain circumstances. To exercise any of them, email dpo@everity.co.uk. There is normally no charge, and we will respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Children
Our services are for organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact our Data Protection Officer first at dpo@everity.co.uk so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
